Guess How Much I Love You Chocolates for Easter

This might seem like a slightly odd post but I couldn’t resist and had to share these when I discovered them on a recent grocery shopping trip earlier this week.

Posable Nutbrown Hare

Posable Nutbrown Hare

To many people this famous bunny face is very recognisable. He is a main character from the very popular and well loved children’s book, Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney.

I usually never shop at Aldi only because I can never seem to get everything I want in one shopping trip but for some odd reason I went this week and they had an Easter special. I believe they will be available till Easter unless sold out earlier.

Ingredients: Sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, cocoa mass, emulsifiers (soya lecithin), flavouring: vanilla.

Front of tin

The design on the tin is actually illustrations direct from the story book illustrated by Anita Jeram.

Opening up the box reveals a 10 individually wrapped milk chocolate bars. Each piece making up a piece of the illustration on the tin cover. Makes a cute puzzle for young kids before they gobble it all up :)

Now, this wouldn’t be a HungryHungryMonkey review if I didn’t review the chocolates. Right?

Milk chocolates

To be very honest there isn’t anything special about these milk chocolates. If anything, they are a little too sweet for my liking and not enough cocoa. The chocolate doesn’t isn’t too rich either, but the tin itself is super cute that the chocolates don’t really bother me.

I think these cute chocolate tins along with book makes a great Easter gift for that someone special in your life. Unfortunately, if you don’t live in Australia I’m not quite sure how you would get a hold of these chocolates. Sorry :( but you can still pick up the plushie soft toy.
